Gemmy Green Excavator Terminator Fluorites from England FL500

Within the Thompson Vein yields another new find of Fluorites from Lady Annabella Mine. Seated on an iron- and silica- rich brecciated matrix, druzzy Quartz can be found sparkling around the Fluorites. The Fluorites are vivid leaf green in colour, and comes in a mix of surface features bound to captivate you in endless admiration. 

With lustre ranging from glass-clear to waxy and satin, the typical frosted cores due to rapid crystallisation can be observed. Throw in stepped surfaces, screw dislocation, mosaic-like etchings, imprinting left over from early generation Quartz, and you have a complete specimen for the aspiring collector. Watch out for twinned and interpenetrant growth, elongated cubic formation too! 

Unlike most Lady Annabella productions, Excavator Terminator Fluorites do not exhibit daylight fluorescence. Under longwave UV, they turn bright lavender. Twinned Fluorite cubes fluorescence stronger than single Fluorite cubes.⁠
